Infusionsoft raises the bar on email deliverability

The world leader in Email Marketing, eCommerce and CRM for small businesses, Infusionsoft, is raising the bar for deliver-ability by added DMARC technology as an authentication protocol.

Basically, DMARC performs a check against both the SPF record as well as the DKIM of the sending domain and gives the recipient MTA (Message Transport Agent) the information it needs to perform actions against a spoofed domain. Coupling these two authentication protocols makes it pretty much impossible for a malicious sender to spoof a sender’s domain. While not completely foolproof on protecting against every kind of spoofing, it does provide a reliable method for safeguarding against domain-specific phishing violations. Infusionsoft has been incorporating both DKIM and SPF for many years, so adding DMARC was easily integrated as part of the software developer’s drive to continually evolve and strengthen their email systems. << Read Announcement >>

“It is important for major companies like Infusionsoft to stay on top of developing technologies in the deliver-ability of emails,”  comments David Holland, CEO of EXELA Limited and an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant. “Email marketing is a mainstream marketing approach and cutting out rogue senders is essential to the credibility of the industry.”
