Pilots Paradise – Succeeding with Infusionsoft

Swindon based company, Pilots Paradise, offers UK/EU pilots the opportunity to fly themselves around the USA in a private light aircraft as well as helping them convert a UK/EU licence to a USA one. Set up four years ago, growth has been so strong that owner/manager Oliver Fisher was losing track of the customers and leads he had contacted and when follow up was required. He first noticed Infusionsoft on Facebook and it appeared he had found the solution to his problems.

Oliver comments; “I needed help – I had Mailchimp, six spreadsheets, Dropbox, a booking system and a new sales person all trying to work out what was going on! Multi system madness and confusion was common and many hours of lost time were spent trying to keep it all together. I had invested in three light air crafts, was offering a holiday package as well as developing a website and mailing list. I had no marketing plan and no idea how to solve the problem. We were getting close to being paralysed.”

Many small business owners pursue their entrepreneurial dreams to gain the freedom to do what they love; however they often find themselves strapped for time while struggling to manage everything themselves. Exela was able to provide Oliver with an easy-to-use system creating a sales and marketing strategy for Pilots Paradise and mapping each step.

Oliver adds; “I didn’t want to spend any money on advertising because I knew I would lose and waste the leads. So I had to revamp the whole funnel process and this was done with Infusionsoft. I have been able to create a soft touch initial sign up tool which gives three free guides from us for signing up and the system then helps our customers get their FAA licence with follow-ups and reminders in a timely fashion. I have created a referral campaign for all of my previous and future customers and Infusionsoft has given my sales team access to contacts and a way for us all to know where each contact is at in a sales pipeline. From there I was able to develop a strong advertising campaign to push people to my home page with the confidence of knowing Infusionsoft had it under control. Customer care was sorted at last!”

Oliver is now also able to plan more effectively for the future, by using Infusionsoft as his booking system and further improving how he uses the sales aids for his team.

And Oliver’s advice to anyone finding themselves in his position and requiring help. “Do it – if you are small and growing, Infusionsoft will get you through a big pain barrier. There is work to do but if you put in the effort you can at some point sit back and see the system doing a huge amount of work for you. You can then focus on making your product better and chasing new leads which is at the heart of growing a business. Let Infusionsoft do the housekeeping while you build the extension!”
